Pet travel consultation

Stop collecting answers in pieces. We go through your trip — the actual one, with your dates and your animal — and tell you what has to be done.

Route, country requirements, airline rules, documents. We check all of it and put it into one clear order of actions.

The more you read, the less clear it gets

You have read ten websites, and now you understand less than when you started.

The country's website says one thing.

The airline says another.

Your vet says a third.

And somewhere online, someone writes: “We flew, nobody asked us for anything.”

You don't need more information. You need to know what applies to your trip.

Who this is for

A consultation makes sense if:

What we can go through

Route

How to get from A to B with your animal, and which options actually exist in your case.

Country requirements

Vaccinations, antibody tests, waiting periods, certificates, permits, import, export and transit rules.

The airline

Cabin, hold or cargo; weight and breed limits; carrier and crate requirements; and what is specific to your route.

Documents

What you already have, what of it works, what is missing, and what still has to be issued.

Timing

What has to happen and when, which waiting periods are mandatory, and how to plan backwards from your travel date.

Unusual situations

A refusal from an airline, awkward transit, requirements that contradict each other, a trip at short notice.

What you get

Not answers to questions. A written plan for your trip, set out in order.

After the consultation you keep a document you can come back to at every stage of getting ready.

You will know:

And the calm of knowing what to do next.

How the consultation works

01

You tell us about your trip

The route, the dates you have in mind, the animal, the documents you hold, and everything you already know.

02

We work through your case

Country and airline requirements, your documents, the timing, the route, and the places it could get difficult.

03

You get the written plan

We put the whole review into a structured document: what has to be done, when, where, and in what order.

04

A call, if it helps

Some situations are easier to talk through out loud. When that's the case, we get on a call and go through what's left.

The questions we get every day

The rabies antibody test was done two years ago. Does it need repeating?

The country doesn't ask for the test, the airline does. Whose rules apply?

Can we transit through this country?

The lab is accredited — but does this country accept its results?

My vet says the documents are enough. How do I check that?

Can my dog fly in the cabin on this route?

We have several connections. Which rules apply in each country?

We've already bought the tickets. Is there still time to get the animal ready?

Why PETIQ

We don't study the rules of pet travel. We work with them every day.

PETIQ moves animals internationally, all over the world.

So we don't look at a trip through one country's requirements, or through a list of veterinary documents.

Country of departure, destination, transit, airline, route, veterinary requirements and the actual logistics have to work together. That's how we go through every case.

Common questions

Can you just check my documents?

Yes. If your question is mostly about the documents you already hold, we go through them and tell you whether they work for your trip and what is missing.

Do you only consult on Europe?

No. PETIQ works with international trips worldwide.

Can you go through a complicated route with several countries?

Yes — that's where a consultation earns its keep. It isn't only the destination that matters: transit, carrier rules and the requirements at each leg all count.

Can you contact the airline or the authorities instead of me?

That goes beyond a consultation and belongs to travel support. We can offer it separately.

What if, after the consultation, I decide not to do it myself?

You can hand PETIQ the documents, the travel support, or the whole transport.

Don't put your trip together in pieces.

Tell us where you're going and which animal is coming with you.

We go through your case, put the information in order, and show you how to make the trip happen. After that you can get ready calmly, knowing what comes next.
