The first dog

Where it all started: canine work, training, dog behaviour and dog sport.

First serious result in training

IPO 1 passed — the first level of the international three-part test for working dogs: tracking, obedience and protection.

Working as a trainer

Professional work with owners and their dogs: training, preparation for trials, and solving behaviour problems.

Körung passed

A demanding breed suitability test, where conformation, temperament, stability and working ability are all assessed.

First world championship

First trip abroad with a dog — the IDC, the world championship for Dobermanns. With it came the first hands-on experience of crossing a border with a dog and preparing documents for an international trip.

The kennel is registered

The kennel was registered with the FCI, the international canine federation. Breeding, shows, and handing puppies over to new owners in Europe and the United States.

Show trips began to double as puppy deliveries. New owners were often met at the shows themselves.

Pet transport becomes its own line of work

Group trips across Europe, organised specifically to bring puppies to their new owners. Transport gradually separated from the kennel and became a service in its own right.

Regular road routes

Regular road routes across Europe, and systematic work with international animal transport.

A new direction in dog sport

From international working trials with large service breeds to agility with small ones.

The Polish company

The Polish company was founded and a European licence for international road transport obtained.

The range of work grew: air routes, transport documents, consulting and travel support joined road transport. The company became a full travel agency for animals, and Pet Travel Agency and Pet Travel Academy took shape under the PETIQ brand.

The Service Dog Program

Work began on the Service Dog programmes, bringing years of dog training together with the practice of international travel.
